INTRODUCING THE PLCS LEADERSHIP SUITE!

PLCS is launching the Leadership Suite to support, develop, and connect educational leaders at every level.

Rooted in research and grounded in the realities of school leadership, the PLCS Leadership Suite is a new professional learning series designed to grow, connect, and empower leaders across roles and career stages. Through thoughtfully designed programs, the Leadership Suite supports the development of essential skills, fosters collaborative learning communities, and provides actionable strategies to meet the evolving demands of today’s educational landscape.

It begins with two high-impact offerings:
The Leadership Studio and Leading Leaders: Lead Evaluator Training — with more to come.

The Leadership Studio

A collaborative learning space for school building leaders to engage in reflection, growth, and peer-to-peer learning around instructional leadership and school improvement.

Leading Leaders: Lead Evaluator Training

A skill-building experience for school and district leaders focused on strengthening inter-rater reliability and effective evaluation practices aligned to strong teaching and learning.

Dr. Mary Elizabeth Wilson, Senior Director, PLCS

Dr Mary Elizabeth Wilson Headshot Dr. Mary Elizabeth Wilson leads initiatives in curriculum development and educational opportunities. A passionate science educator, Dr. Wilson has extensive experience in school leadership, working across districts to enhance curriculum, instruction, and assessment. She has contributed to numerous educational initiatives, research projects, and professional development efforts. Dr. Wilson founded EDU Inc., an organization focused on supporting educational initiatives across the PreK-12 spectrum. She holds an Ed.D. in Science Education from Columbia University and multiple certifications in educational administration and science teaching.

Adam Weinstock, Assistant Director

Adam Weinstock is dedicated to creating educational spaces where all students can grow and thrive. With a focus on equity, relationships, and responsive practices, he has worked in a variety of roles, including classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and school and district administration. Weinstock has collaborated with schools to drive whole-school improvement, focusing on ELA, literacy, and Social Studies curriculum and assessment. He is passionate about social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and inclusive education. Weinstock holds a Bachelor's in Public Policy from Brown University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Baruch College, and a School District Leadership Certification from Bank Street College.

Michael Setaro, Supervisor of Teaching, Learning, and Student Support

Michael Setaro, Supervisor of Teaching, Learning, and Student Support at PLCS, brings over two decades of experience in education. His career spans roles such as Principal, Chair of the Committee on Special Education, MTSS Coordinator, and Chair of the Social Studies Department. With a strong foundation in special education and a focus on dyslexia, Mike has become a leader in crafting professional development programs in MTSS, data analysis, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), and curriculum design. He has presented regionally and nationally, advocating for students’ needs and driving positive change in educational syste

The Leadership Studio

Effective school leadership goes beyond managing day-to-day operations—it requires vision, courage, and a proactive approach
to meeting the evolving needs of students, staff, and communities.

The Leadership Studio is a dynamic professional learning series created to inspire, empower, and support principals and assistant principals in leading with purpose, clarity, and impact.

Grounded in research and real-world practice, the series combines structured learning with responsive coaching and peer collaboration. Participants will engage in a sequence of high-leverage sessions focused on today’s most critical topics in education: MTSS implementation, culturally responsive leadership, social-emotional learning, instructional excellence, discipline reform, and authentic community engagement.

Each session is designed to build both knowledge and capacity—equipping leaders with practical tools, strategic frameworks, and a supportive network to foster innovation, advance equity, and drive sustainable school improvement.

Whether you're building foundational systems or leading next-level change, the Leadership Studio offers a space to think boldly, lead collaboratively, and make meaningful, lasting impact.
