Catherine Graybosch is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in library services, professional learning, and school leadership. She began her career as a Library Media Specialist in the Great Neck School District, where she integrated technology into library programs to support student research, digital literacy, and academic achievement. Her work emphasized fostering critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.
In the Katonah-Lewisboro School District, Catherine served as a Staff Developer, collaborating with educators to enhance instructional practices and implement innovative teaching strategies. She provided professional learning opportunities tailored to improving student outcomes and meeting the evolving needs of schools.
Most recently, Catherine served as an Assistant Principal, where she focused on building positive school cultures, supporting curriculum development, and strengthening teacher practices. Her leadership in these roles reflects her commitment to advancing educational equity and excellence.
Catherine holds an ALA-accredited Master’s Degree in Library Science and is certified as a School Library Media Specialist. She also has building-level administrative certification, equipping her with the expertise to lead and innovate in her role as Supervisor of the School Library System at Southern Westchester BOCES.
Her vision for the role includes empowering school librarians to be leaders in technology integration, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments.
